About the Course

Public Speaking For Teens (Ages 11–16)

Built on The Tell & Share Five-Pillar Leadership & Presence Method™

Where Confidence Matures Into Influence.

The teenage years are formative.

This is the season when voices deepen — not just physically, but intellectually.

When opinions form.

When identity strengthens.

When young people begin stepping into leadership spaces.

Public Speaking For Teens is not simply a speaking course.

It is a leadership formation journey.

Running year-round during school term time, this academy equips teenagers with the clarity, composure and persuasive presence required for academic success, interviews, leadership roles and life beyond the classroom.

Through a refined blend of performing arts confidence training and advanced public speaking coaching, students do not merely learn how to present.

They learn how to command attention with substance.

The Tell & Share Five-Pillar Leadership & Presence Method™

Every teenager progresses through five transformative pillars:

1. Commanding Confidence

True leadership begins with composure.

Students learn to manage nerves, regulate breathing, control posture and speak with calm authority under observation. Confidence becomes steady — not situational.

2. Vocal Authority & Persuasive Expression

Clarity is power.

Teens are trained to eliminate filler words, strengthen articulation, vary tone intentionally and project with conviction. They learn to speak in a way that holds attention.

3. Purposeful Movement & Presence

Before a word is spoken, presence communicates.

Through structured performance labs and real-world simulations, teenagers develop natural gestures, controlled movement and audience connection.

4. Structured & Strategic Communication

Ideas matter. Structure elevates them.

Students are taught how to construct compelling openings, develop logical arguments, and deliver persuasive conclusions without reliance on scripts.

They practise informative, persuasive and reflective speaking formats — skills transferable across academic and leadership environments.

5. Leadership Presentation & Distinction

Growth culminates in visible transformation.

Students deliver multi-minute presentations, participate in structured debate-style exchanges and present in showcase settings designed to strengthen composure and authority.

Milestone recognition celebrates progress that is measurable and meaningful.

Year-Round In-Term Development Pathway

Public Speaking For Teens operates as a continuous development academy during school term time.

Teenagers are assessed and promoted as they demonstrate growth in maturity, clarity and stage presence.

Level 1 – Emerging Leader

Building vocal confidence, structured short talks and reducing presentation anxiety.

Level 2 – Developing Influencer

Delivering persuasive 2–3 minute presentations with structured arguments and confident movement.

Level 3 – Confident Leader

Presenting multi-minute speeches with composure, audience engagement and persuasive authority.

Promotion is based on readiness and visible development — not attendance alone.

Preparing for GCSE, Sixth Form & Beyond

The teenage years are a defining season.

As students approach GCSE examinations, Sixth Form applications and future academic pathways, communication becomes increasingly important.

Public Speaking For Teens strengthens skills that directly support academic and professional progression:

• Clear verbal responses in class discussions

• Structured thinking under timed conditions

• Confident oral presentations

• Reduced anxiety during speaking assessments

• Improved persuasive writing through structured speech training

• Stronger interview readiness for Sixth Form and scholarship opportunities

The ability to articulate ideas clearly often distinguishes high-achieving students from the rest.
